Lou Drew - born in the Chicago area in 1952, has worked in the arts since 1976. After going to Marquette University in Milwaukee Wisconsin worked for a time in that city as Director of Fine arts for Peoples' Heritage and later as Artistic Director for The Peoples' Theatre. A California artist since the mid eighties, currently residing in Redding. Mediums include but are not limited to charcoal, graphite, oil and acrylics. As a gay man and a person with AIDS much of the work deals with related issues and images.
